You must have seen a large, white carnivorous animal known as a polar bear on the Discovery channel. They are dangerous in nature and are generally found in the Arctic region of the world.
But do you know that these large animals can so swim in ice-chilled water and rather spend half of the year just sleeping in the cave?
Today we will bring a cute polar bear from the Arctic circle to our drawing sheet in just 9 steps.
How to Draw A Polar Bear– Let’s Start!
Step 1 — Outline the head and mouth portion of the polar bear
Start with drawing a curved line towards the left side to form a bulged-out head portion of the polar bear. Next, we need to draw another curved line from the lower end of the previous line towards the upper right direction giving it an open end.
Step 2 — Draw the ears and add details
The next step is to draw the ears. You can draw a small irregular semicircle in the peripheral centre of the first curved line.
For the second year, just draw another small arc from the open end of the first curved line.
You can take the reference of the picture shown below and then add some details by drawing some creases inside the ears.
Step 3 — Add eyes, a nose and a mouth
Draw two pea-sized dots towards the jointed curve point at some distance inside the face. Add creases above and below the dots to form the eyes.
Next draw a solid horizontally elliptical shape to form the nose.
Then draw a small straight line towards the downward direction from the centre of the nose and branch out two curves of different sizes to form a cute smile.
Step 4 — Outline the front limbs of the bear
Now we need to form the body of the polar bear. For this, first draw the chest area with another curved line below the chin.
Now draw two legs with some curves to form feet at some distance. You can take the reference from the picture shown below.
Step 5 — Add the third limb
Now extend the curved line of the chest area without crossing the front limbs. This will give a 3D effect. Add another limb, a bit smaller in size, drawn just adjacent to the bigger limb in front.
Don’t get confused and take a look at the picture shown below.
Step 6 — Draw the fourth limb
Now using some curved lines, draw the last limb just like the other legs. Add the foot too. Also, draw a straight vertical line and give it an open end. Draw another small curved line just below the right ear.
Step 7 — Draw the back portion of the polar bear
Draw a curved line in a horizontal direction starting from the mid of the curve drawn previously below the ear.
Now join that line towards the back limb portion drawn earlier to complete the body of the polar bear.
Step 8 — Add a tail!
The simplest of all steps is here. Just draw a small semi-circle at the back portion above the fourth limb to form a cute tail.
Step 9 — Add a few strokes of blue colour
As we know the polar bear is white in colour so we will only add a few strokes and shades of light blue colour to add a cool and icy effect to our drawing. And our cute polar bear is ready to play with us.
Conclusion
We hope this 9-step guide would have helped you draw cute polar bear.
